to figure out what is going on.

When this happened to me, I had to be pretty sneaky.  My boyfriend started hiding his phone and I couldn’t find it anywhere.  He would come home really late at night and once he was in bed I would get up to check his phone.  The problem was that I could never find it.  Then one night I finally thought to check for it in his car.  Bingo!  I found it, but, he had erased everything!  So I knew he was up to something, because why else would he go to the trouble of leaving his phone in the car <i>and</i> erasing his call lists and text messages?

I knew the only way I would catch him at what he was doing, was to either find a way to get his phone away from him during the day, or find a way to get to his cell phone bill before he did.  I knew I wouldn’t be able to get his phone away from him because he always had it in his pocket.  So I started stalking the mail box.  Sure enough, one day I came home before he did and got lucky.  There were calls and texts to a number I didn’t recognize all over it!

Once I had the number, I took the bill to work and threw it away so he would just think it got lost in the mail.  Then I did a reverse phone lookup on the number. This gave me the name and address of the girl he was talking to.  I went over there that afternoon and parked down the street.  Sure enough, I caught him going into her house when he was supposed to be going to his little brother’s ball game.

So if your boyfriend is being secretive with his phone, here are two things I recommend:  get to his phone bill so you can find out who he is talking to, and then do a reverse phone lookup.  It will tell you all of the information you need to know.
